Logsitics Inventory not available for construction

I don't know if this is a feature or bug but the logistics inventory on Icarus is not available when building. E.g. if I have 100 belts on the logistic inventory but zero in the regular inventory, it says I don't have belts when building a blueprint. Does any one have an answer for that?

I think its just the way it is you have to manually move them, they extra 20 slots are basically just that extra slots for items, with the extra bit of being able to have things you always need on hand.

Yeah, the logistic slots are extra storage (up to 10 stacks fully upgraded) that you have to manually access. The last update changed the bot delivery location to your normal inventory now though. So if you create a new logistic slot request items will drop off in your normal inventory and become immediately available. If your normal inventory is full it will fill up the logistic slots next.

The extra storage is great for traveling to new planets which will obviously be outside your logistics network, but now you have to manually put the 10 stacks in. I hope they add a modifier + click to send everything from your normal inventory to logistic slot storage and vise versa.

It used to be that the bots delivered to the logistic slot first, and only when it was full would the items start dropping into your inventory. So you just set your requested amount higher than the 10 slots and then you had a huge buffer automatically filled without extra steps when you left the planet.

I think it would be best if everything was available regardless of logistic or normal inventory. I do not think it would be problematic when it comes to requests or deliveries. Anyway, maybe the developers have something else in mind for the future.

hmm that sounds like a bug to me, it was already kinda unintuitive before but this just seems over the top now.

Oh, now I finally understand how that is supposed to work. Handy on new planets. I thought it was to keep you from an overloaded bag.
