Bootes Void Dyson Spheres
Random lol, but yall think theres any potential truth to the possibility of a type 3 civilization enveloping suns with dyson spheres in the Bootes void causing the "blackout" of the region?

No, i dont think so ;) Its not just some suns missing, its complete galaxies that are missing. Even if you build dyson spheres around all suns of a galaxy (or tousands of galaxies in this case) it would still emit some kind of infrared signals and gravitation effects.

I also think that the universe is too young for a Type 3 civilization to build 100.000.000.000.000 Dyson spheres in one region ;)

If so, then the job was completed at least a 865 million years ago. It's 700 MLY to the centre of the Bootes void. Add another 165 MLY radius to that, your talking some serious light lag.

Alas no: if there was a lot of mass present in the void the gravitational effects would still be detectable via gravitational lensing on radiation passing through the void.
