How do you use more than one icon on a blueprint?

I can only set one icon, but for some of the Blueprints I imported from the Web - I can see several

There's a little dropdown menu, near the box where you pick the icon. that says "1-1". That's 1 icon only.
2-1, 2-2, ect. are different patterns of arranging 2 icons.
3-1, 3-2, etc. are different patterns of arranging 3 icons.
and so forth.

Once you pick one of the higher icon patterns there will be multiple dashed line boxes available in the icon selection box. Click on each to select an icon to fill that area.
