Late game hydrogen sources
So, Im hitting late game, trying to create more green cubes.
At this point I just dont create enough hydrogen to feed even 2 colliders
I totally stopped fueling thermal powerplants with the hydrogen, I dont waste any of it.
Almost all my power for now is solar+wind.

For now I use fire ice to create all needed graphene (+1hydrogen/2s )
I dont use a lot of xray cracking (+1 hydrogen/4s) - like 10 refineries only, Ill create more now
And I built 2 orbital collectors, but their rate is relatively slow for my world, it is 0,25/s or 1hydrogen/4s.

Any fresh ideas to boost hydrogen production late game?

Build tons more orbital collectors it adds up and nice and passive. Do you feed hydrogen back into the xray with some sort of priority filtering?

I can't seem to get rid of mine fast enough I tend to just keep making deuterium lol

gas giant puts out plenty, especially if you put as many collectors as possible.

exploit all the oil seeps on the planet and ship the oil/hydrogen around.

Yeah, I have a lot of priority filtering on hydrogen lines, rebuilt it like 4-5 times.
I have to keep all production output clean, all production (like deiterium, XRay and red cubes) full and burn all excesses.
Also I have feeding line from orbit collector to fill spaces on the combined production output line.

When I was midgame and couldnt get rid of hydrogen excesses, I just created 16 PP and fueled them all with excess hydrogen. This way requires to keep solar energy satisfaction like 70-80%, to let hydrogen burn.
Anyway, I liked this solution )

I have 24 oil refineries on crude oil refining and 10 on xray, I know it is some potential here, I wrote it on the first message.
I doubt orbital collectors are just too slow

i am in the late game also. i would say you need for each resource one planet. the endgame is insane. also agree with the exploiting the gas giant

for every 1 oil refineries , 2 x-ray refineries can make graphite and hydrogen. You can loop back the hydrogen produced to supply the refineries and keep them going - but the kicker is, if you insert a series of 10 chained fractionators in the hydrogen feedback loop, you will generate a crapton of deuterium in a short time. Oil being infinite, you will soon flood with it.

As I calculated, spaming oil refineries is not efficient. I found nice and elegant solution.
1. Gas giant produces fire ice 3 times faster than pure hydrogen
2. Refining fire ice to graphene and hydrogen gives 1/2 hydrogen per second (XRay gives only 1/4), also refinery requires more energy than chemicals, but this is not thsat important

So refining fire ice hydrogen is at least 2 times better than xray cracking and requires less free space.
