Misc:
3333 3333 - Courtesy of PaleCook on reddit. A B-type star named Errai ~9 lightyears from starting system has 3 habitable (water as ocean type) satellite planets orbiting a gas giant (Prairie, Red Stone, and Oceanic Jungle), as well as a second giant with a satellite planet.

What I know so far about world gen based on a very brief look at the game code:

Star generation is based on star type, with your starting star being the exception. The starting star will always have 3 planets and a gas/ice giant. From my brief look so far, I don't yet see anything that would prevent all 3 functional planets in your starting system from orbiting the same giant, but I'll try to verify that later. I've yet to look at the planet gen to see what determines orbit info though, so no word yet on what can be tidally locked and what can't. As for other stars, they will have the following number of planets.

M-Type 1-4
K-Type 1-5
G-Type 3-5
F-Type 3-5
A-Type 3-5
B-Type 4-6
O-Type 5-6
Giant Star 1-3
Neutron Star 1
White Dwarf 1-2
Black Hole 1

@Trebs have you by any chance seen a seed with a Tidal Locked planet on a Neutron star? I don't know if those are even possible in the game. Although technically almost any planet around a Neutron star should be tidally locked with it lol.

There is a lot of systems with tidal locked planets around a neutron star, this is just an example:

Ran a small search, and found 21 seeds with tidal locked planets around a neutron star in the first 530 seeds.

Can it detect satellite planet on O star? I really want that, so far i could only find one with sore-eye manual searching. Have all rare vein but the blackhole so far ++20 years .

You may wish to included to total amount of some resources in a cluster. For unipolar magnets at least. Lots of those are needed for more ambitious science a second projects. Personally, I've seen it vary from a few hundred K to over 13 million in a system.
That really depends on the multiplier you set. If you want 13-14mil, set resources to unlimited. Otherwise, Uni-polar are found on Neutron and Black Hole systems. Amount really isn't relevant, for my own personal taste - I really only care about distance from start system to one of them (although, later game it really is not an issue) Also, I can already list resources and amounts - thing is, its not the data I am looking for or care about so I have it turned off from scanning. Later, when I have a shared database for anyone to access - I will have that data avail since everyone is looking for a different set of specifics.

yes, though Trebs is looking for slightly different system than myself.

Here is just a small list if interested in a few, again, other than Ocean type I have resources turned off. Ignore luminosity for black holes and neutrons, game uses a formula applied to the base value for that - for those I am just listing the base value since it is irrelevant for those. (I will add it calculated it later via the tool, but not so important atm)

Can someone please write a mod which is creating an TXT/CSV or even XML file exporting everything of the current seed with informations about all Systems, Suns, Planets, Satellites and Resources including Properties like Wind-Bonus, Solar-Bonus, Orbits, Radius, Sizes, Luminosity, Special Properties like Tidal Locking and so on.

We figure out a way to process/evaluate/search those files later but having this would make a good start for all developers.

Yes there are mods which allow you to have 255 Star Systems (at own risk). And there is a 2nd one as well.

However just for assurance I removed the mod and loaded a game created with the mod and the planet I was standing on was gone. I dare not think what would happen to all the structures on it if I actually played the game.

So keep in mind whenever the developer decide to "adjust" the algorithm there is the risk of you not able to load your map again or lose everything to a universe which is now generated differently.

And there is of course always the risk of a game update making the mod incompatible. Are you ready to lose a playthrough with 100+ hours?

makes sense though,. the object past 64 count created would no longer exist if the mod is removed. Still, good info for anyone whom may not be aware. Thanks for sharing!

A small example for the problem here. Anything which adjusts the Procedural Generation of the game (including game updates itself) always bears the risk of lose your cluster.

yep, main reason I am not too determined to make a complete 22R + dump list yet, i'd just have to do it all over again when/if they change anything with it anytime soon haha :)

I've been having a blast with 1382 5733.
Fire Ice starting giant.
Very tightly packed solar system.
High wind world with good silicon and low tilt
Lava world with high solar and extreme iron/copper and low tilt
Very close Black hole and Neutron star. Of course this is a double edged sword, because their rare resources get a low resource multiplier.

here my current favorite seed

95810791 - tight cluster of starts, some b-class right near by around 1.1 hours away , very close.

starting locations is basic irons copper and stone all near by and coal not too far away.
starting gas giant is hydrogen and fire-ice. starting planet also(for me not sure it counts research oil speed, showing 32 units p/s.

one near by planet fair close (normally for me been under .6 au) and got a lot of titanium, stone, copper however weak in iron, coal and ,no silicon it also have as a decent wind buff at 150% while solar at 115%, no liquids all land, good for soil gathering.

father planet a icy one with very little water. however does have silicon and iron a few millions units, a lot more titanium, weak in copper and coal. it also have fire-ice veins around 1.5 million. window a bit weak at 70% and solar worst at 41%. nearly water less at 98.1* unable land.

lastly main sun is a g class 1.04 r and .997 lums

black hole 13 light years and neutron star 11 light years away.

I'm still looking for a seed with 2 tidally locked planets next to a blue giant (20+ rad, ~2.7 lum) & same with a decent normal sized class O (~2.5lum).

00527470 (TheAncientOne) - very nice starting system, sadly the blue giant with R22.8/L2.736 has no tidally locked planet, but still one of the best seeds i know.

00361360 (Trebs)- Lumi: 2.755, Star size: 22.84, Planets: 2 , Tidal locked planet Type: Vocano - nice one, Top 5 so far :)

How about an class O with not one, not two, but THREE yes THREE tidally locked planets and an 2.508 lum? Seed: 71272105

There is a new mod out to search planets. It is mostly in chinese but I managed to figure out enough of it to find what you are looking for. The mod "Star Map Tools" and near the bottom the left number field is minimum luminosity and the right number field is max distance from start in LY.

Not searching any more, playing. Found numerous seeds I was looking for. Playing one of them between RL work. Just need to work on getting back to a good point ingame that I can start on a sphere again. Tried to play after work yday but ended up having to crash for the night. Hopefully, I can get somewhere today and I am off so thats a +
