Once that happened started fine :)
In my case I had to change the registry in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders for personal to be a local folder instead of the network share.
basically remove the folder redirections.
thx u very much !!
Looks like it's only the unc-paths that the game is struggling with. It does work if you map your documents folder as a network drive.
example: I have my documents folder on \\nas\myname\home\documents and have now mapped my p-drive as \\nas\myname\home
In the registry key mentioned by Salt I used "P:\Documents"
Thanks devs!
Edit: the word in the path.txt is the folder name it'll create. You can also use the word saves, profiles or something similiar, but you shouldn't use an already existing folder. The game will automaticly create a folder with that name in the game directory and stores the settings and savegames in there.
Just add a word in ..\Configs\path.txt , i used saves.
Restart the game and all is good !
tried doing all of that and nothing seems to help , the game crashed about 30 in the loading screen with an error messsage ''DSPGAME.EXE has stopped working"
This has solved an issue I have had with heaps of other games. 18 months of issues solved by you! thanks a million
