Is this a vacuum simulator?

My mom bought a new Dyson vacuum last month and she has been raving about it, telling me I should get one to help pick up my dog hair. Will this game simulate that for me so I can get an idea of what it will be like before I buy a real one?

Like a Ball Vacuum? That's the one my mom has, it gives it more reach around corners and its easily controllable.

With the same that resouces get consumed I would absolutely say this is a vacuum simulator. The power plants and research labs are sucking up all the recyclable metal.
