But seriously - the game will likely end up with multiplayer but much like Factorio its more important to get a good game first, then figured out the complex changes that'd be needed let you guys team up to play this solo game together later.
Not even sure they know what a term like "hive-mind" really means but yeah, can't agree more. Plus the fact they live in a world, where everything has to be instant, in a snap of a finger, because tomorrow might already be too late for them
This game needs more polishing on fundamental level. At the moment even the tech tree is not fully implemented yet, let alone the ability to change the keybinds. Not that it's of any problem to me, just saying the facts. Developers know very well which aspects of the game they have to polish and/or still implement in and rest assured, multiplayer definetly is planned for future releases, if all goes well. That's at least my view on the things
You can't push for multiplayer in that stage unfortunately. Just learn to be patient
Hate speech as a way to post unnecessary comments ...
I just stated that there are other games that I would rather play because they already Have multiplayer, and I only voiced my opinion as there is no sign of this game getting one in FAQ.
And if you want to "slap" multiplayer later without thinking about it from start then it will probably have a lot of bugs for a long time.
I will probably play it one way or another, but I would already bought that game if there was a statement that MP is on roadmap but at later stages.
I already have few copies of both basic and Titans, we did play a lot, but looking for something new. But thanks for suggestion
multiplayer is not all it's cracked up to be.
all you deal with is trolls and people who don't pay attention/listen and go do their own stuff which generally ends up screwing you over in some way.
Yeah but that is because its new and shiny this is a poor assessment of determining what is doing good and what is doing badly you need to wait till it has passed the freshness phase to determine it based on that factor.
Unfortunately you are wrong the thing is multiplayer must be done quite soon in development as this can cause issues on stability and balance if you knew anything about data transferring from 2 systems running in sync it can cause sync issues if you do not address it in a early state of the game and judging by a game like this multiplayer if not addressed soon will become a absolute pain to optimise with all the things happening simultaneously on say 2 or even more players playing the same game.
I have seen games where they slap the multiplayer at the end and it becomes unplayable due to sync issues and connectivity issues and if it some how does work it often has a huge number of unbalanced issues where glitches often happen such as the dreaded clone glitch that plagues most games that slap a multiplayer at the end of development where some games even went to such lengths to disable any form of trading from one player to another because of this glitch.
