Need to deliver smaller quantities
Since it's a nightmare to find everything scattered about on the planet, I put logistics towers at all of the production centers and get all of the more important items delivered to my shopping mall at the north pole.

One problem that I have here (and in some other cases) is that logistics towers only count in increments of 100. This works for most of the staple items, but in some cases, it's just overkill.

For example, I'd like to have supplies of the three logistics towers up there. But I only need a max of about 10. My only option is to have the factories deliver to a tower where there will be a minimum of 100 stored, then have them delivered to another tower at my mall (another 100), then pumped into a nearby storage box where I can access them. All in all, I have to create nearly 300 orbital stations, 600 interstellar stations and 900 planetary stations just to get ten of each delivered.

Yeah 100 is a crazy amount of some things.
I end up just taking all of them, say 100 suns, ISL etc, things you need anyway later and just not request more but you should be able to just ask for less

I don't want to sound like I want to turn this into Factorio, but a circuit network would solve a *lot* of problems.

Sorter functions:
if (Orbital Collectors < 10)

Yeah, I run in this problem too. I guess everyone does as soon as he is requesting buildings from the home planet to other stars.
In my opinion, an easy solution would be to change the steps in the slider for provision-/request amount. Now you have steps of 100 from 0 to 5000/10000. I would propose something like:
5,10,20,...,100,200,...,1000,1200,...,2000,2500,3000,...,10000

That should be easy to implement and should solve most of the situations.

Or simply being able to manually type in the number of units a vessel/drone will carry instead of using a sliding 10%/10% scale.

Yes, I was thinking something along the same idea.

For me, the problem is the minimum amount that must be stored in the logistics tower.

I would like to be able to just order an amount once and then have that delivered. So you don't have to tinker with demand and storage. Just a 1 time trip and that's it

You could add that as a manual input, as well. Well, you couldn't. The Devs could. It would be nice.

The problem is that the only method for long-distance shipments requires these gargantuan logistics stations. Transferring and storing large quantities like iron and hydrogen makes sense, but not so much for buildings.

Awww, you don't want 10,000 Artificial Stars? Why not!?
