Super Magnetic Rings ... how many do you even make?
I was running some numbers on ratios and it seems these guys take a vast amount of resources to make, especially raw ore.

I have just setup what i thought was a very large iron and copper smelting on another planet only to realise i probably will need a whole lot more for these ring things.

How many do you generally make anyway?

I’ve got about 10 MK3 assemblers cranking those out right now. The biggest bottleneck is the literal 100+ smelters making the magnets for them.

A lot, a week ago I made a dedicated setup for producing 4/sec (240/min) of these things to supply my mall, luckily they are really only used for buildings deuterium fuel rods for fusion, so you could probably get away with a lot less depending on how rapidly you want your mall to be replenished.

ya, you want to do it on mars! you need like 4 iron clusters to even begin a mass setup for em.

Less copper needed.

Kinda satisfying seeing mark 3 belts moving at full speed mining the living hell out of mars.

(...not really mars, just your lava planet)

Haha and here i was at first thinking "yeah, ill setup a 12/s production of these things, how hard can it be"

Im now down to 1 or 2 /s lol

For now i think it will suffice.

If you share all production of green turbine components between super magnetic rings and particle containers, that is where rare resources like unipolar magnets comes in.

That's all you have? I have 20 of them. I go through the things like mad and I have exponentially more turbines and electrical engines to keep up with the demand for them. Don't get me started on the magnets and iron plates.

Go big or go home.

Supermagnetic Tubes are used in a lot of late game stuff.

All of the magnets.

Just to let you know not everyone has a lava planet I'm on my second playthrough and neither one had a lava planet in the starter system. :)

You should go get one then. Everyone needs a lava planet to set up a literal crap ton of smelteries on. The lava makes them smelt faster, (no it doesn't) and it's thematic.

I have a whole star system for those, it only makes 9 per second, while using three planets

Only 9 per second? That seems a little slow for a whole star system.

I was going to go 12/s but it doesn't have as much iron as I'd like locally to support the magnet production. I could upgrade it with imported iron or magnets as there is enough space

9/s takes over 200 iron ore per second, so it’s not too surprising for that to take a whole system.

But you can overlap miners on the same ore spots, so you should be able to boost that to 12/s by just sticking another miner or two on every patch of iron ore.

Before I upgrade I'd like a simple blueprint first, hooking up 3 inputs for 96 electric motor assemblers was painful.

The super magnetic rings need to have their recipie COMPLETELY REVAMPED. It takes way too much busiwork by requiring me to do too much of what I've already done to make them. New recipies should not require inputs of old products. The super magnetic rings should require inputs of copper sheets, iron sheets, glass, and graphite, NOT MOTORS. THAT'S FING ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And the inputs should be 1 to 1 to 1 to 1, not 10 to 20 to 20 to 10 to 1.

So far I have none because my brain says no, I have better things to do than sit here to produce the eight buildings and place them that would be required to just make 1/s because the devs hate the players and made the recipie too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and ANTIFUN.
