I understand what you mean by template, but what do you mean by native copy/paste beyond what's there now?

It's a mod manager and it makes adding any more mod really easy.
Copyinserters is now really stable and doesn't crash anymore
It's great, sure - but I wish we could copy a whole bunch more. It's still a lot of clicky-clicky to build a very big processing center. I wish we could simply copy whole sections of the factories too - Factorio style. I realize that because we're playing on a sphere and the grid keeps changing due to latitude - we can't copy stuff between different latitudes. But still, there must be a solution of some kind here. Latitude-locked copying? Best effort placing on a different latitude (with a warning that something failed)? Allowing for a grid-less placing system?
I agree. My hand is very tired from it too and I really want to put a bunch more time into the game.
For instance some places assume you can fit a powerpole between 2 assemblers that are tightly placed next to each other, which isn't possible in some places.
