No sound

Just bought the game but there there is no sound at all. How do I fix it?

have you tried turning up your volume or if that doesnt work, put it into a bug report

It is being output to the proper device? Is the proper device hooked up correctly? Did you check the in game options? Have you had sound issues in the past? Are you getting any error messages? Is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation over your sound icon on your task bar? Is your sound output plugged in? Did you verify what the default sound device is?

No information other than "broke, please fix", is not very helpful in assisting you.

I also have no sound for this game at all. Yes in-game settings are all fine, volume is turned up, speakers are plugged in correctly (no headphones), sound is working for all other games/programs but I get no sound at all for this game, super strange. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, can't work out the issue.
