This game uses gpu for parallel processing the units in the game...

what sort of temperatures are you getting? anything under 80 degrees won't hurt

What CPU and GPU do you have?
What resolution are you running at?
How big is your base?
etc etc.

What are your specs? I'm running this 1440p/60 at max settings. My CPU is basically no different from when a game isn't running 50-60c while my GPU is 60-65c (3950x with water cooling, 5700XT with computer in an enclosed space which restricts airflow in and out of it).

if your hardware can't run at 100% for any duration, then it's your hardware's fault, not the game.

The fix is on your end, not theirs. My rig's case is not even warm to the touch.

This game actually uses the GPU, unlike most other games.

that's always the case.. you don't have a problem, until you do.
sounds like power supply to me.

but I'd still stress test the GPU with something like Heaven benchmark (free) or MSI Kombustor (also free). given it's an older card, it might just need thermal paste refreshed -- it's pretty easy to do yourself.

Yea, your GPU is too old to run this at max, the min spec is the 750 and the recommended is 1660 which is what, 3.5, 4 generations beyond what you have?

53C is really low. That's fairly hot for a human, but nothing for silicon.

Besides, overheating GPU wouldn't cause a system shutdown. Either the driver would crash or the GPU will throttle itself.

That's a very old card btw. It's close to the minimum spec for the game, which means running at minimum settings.

53 degree Celsius? that's nothing for GPU, you can safely run GPU at 80 degree Celsius.

Some are even designed to run at 90+

yer not sure why.. i tried to use MSI Afterburner to oc to 90c but it will still cut off at 53c dont know why
