What resolution are you running at?

This game actually uses the GPU, unlike most other games.
i7-4770k
16 gig ram
780ti gpu
as soon as my gpu hits 53c my pc will just go off... iv never had this prob b4 this is the first game my pc has not run good
Sounds like a personal problem my dude
that's always the case.. you don't have a problem, until you do.
sounds like power supply to me.
but I'd still stress test the GPU with something like Heaven benchmark (free) or MSI Kombustor (also free). given it's an older card, it might just need thermal paste refreshed -- it's pretty easy to do yourself.
53C is really low. That's fairly hot for a human, but nothing for silicon.
Besides, overheating GPU wouldn't cause a system shutdown. Either the driver would crash or the GPU will throttle itself.
That's a very old card btw. It's close to the minimum spec for the game, which means running at minimum settings.
53 degree Celsius? that's nothing for GPU, you can safely run GPU at 80 degree Celsius.
