What it does differently is the differing enviroments, rare resources to simplify resource chains and the sheer scope of it, where you get to see whole solar system and neighbourhood (have a giant or really bright star close to your system? Nice, because now it is so big or so bright it looks like part of your system!), awesome looking dyson spheres, flying off planet to another planet without a loading screen.... it is fun, addicting, gorgeous and runs really good too!

Especially now, without enemies. I like it. I always turned off agressivity in Factorio so I had the aliens but they were docile till I came for them if I felt like PewPew. Hope it will be the same here, though not sure what we will get given the limited space on planets.
The best thing about this game is the Wife likes it. It's been years since she found something new that she likes. Looks like I'll be buying a second license.
