Super magnetic ring
Its much more expensive than most other ingredients and also needed in mass for belts, fusion fuel cells and several other buildings, maybe reduce the cost to get it more in line with other items? the problem is that it needs 2 turbines, which need 2 motors themselves, which is a bit of an exponential cost

Feels OK to me. Yes, it is expensive, but it is the tier-3 motor so it makes sense that it gets used for the tier-3 belt and other late-game resources.

Not really finding the cost oppressive - once I build a production line for them I've got way more than I need.

I could see that changing if I wanted massive quantities of tier 3 belts, I guess...

like you have so much material on planets that you will not use them all

Will do just that, the cost isnt going to be balanced anytime soon, so lets go crazy :D

I am bottlenecked by power consumption, more than ore consumption, my base is at 500MW and I need the manets to make fusion cells for the fusion power plants, so thats a bit of a catch 24.

there isn't even an alternative recipe for the super magnets either :/

I feel you... find a planet close to a sun (there's probably one in your starting system), and spam it with solar panels... Then transport the energy back to your main base by charging accumulators with the energy transfer devices...

I got stuck on that for a while as well...

The seeds that have tidal locked planets (there's a seed thread somewhere in the list) make solar power generation (and later Photon generation) so much easier

It's mostly just iron and a smidge of coal which is kind of a waste resource anyway.

Get some gas giant mining online and you'll be absolutely swimming in fuel. Then you dump hydrogen rods into thermal plants of if you're really lazy hydrogen itself.

Once you do this Hydrogen becomes kind of a hassle you can't really run out. So it becomes a bottleneck when you want to get sulfuric acid/plastics/organic crystals and other things that require refiled oil.

Yes it is too expensive and yes it and every recipie should be based on entirely new inputs instead of massive quantities of older items which just makes the game suck.
