Key binding
Am playing on a laptop with trackpad hence no middle mouse. Would really help to have an alternative for the camera rotate as no easy way to simulate middle mouse+drag on track pad.

The devs said that the ability to change keybindings should be in by Feb. 11th

If you’re asking if the remapping works, yeah, pretty much (even though I still find the commands a little clunky, even after remapping them). If that’s not the question, sorry I misinterpreted 😄

Cheers 🍻

2022 november, and still no key binding for camera rotation. Those people with no middle mouse button love you, mates...

You can rebind it to a mouse button so you can rebind it right mouse if you want, though honestly you'll have this issue in a fair number of games that use mouse alone for the camera.

Sorry? Middle button is broken (I can use the wheel but clicking with it is not an option). My mouse (Logitech G.604) have 9 additional programmable buttons but I'm not able to use any of them, because this game settings don't let me to reassign that button to any other thing.

Thanks for your help.

Ah yeah tested it, it can only be right, left or middle click.

Your problem is that you can't be bother to use something like AutoHotKey to assign any buttons/keys yourself within minutes, instead you're waiting (and hoping) that the developer will come with something a year from now, that is.... if they can even be bothered to do this for a minority.

Thanks. Autohotkey worked fine, running a script with

z::MButton

Autohotkey works, but I'm still mystified as to why it's necessary. I'm one of those 'weirdo trackball users' and there IS no middle button. Meanwhile across my not-insignificantly-sized steam library I've got exactly 1 game that forces me to either use Autohotkey or purchase a new peripheral to play.

Note: it's still good enough that I have bothered; but ... I mean but still.

Totally agrred, mate.

The only reason I downloaded/installed autohotkeys in my box and edited that script (that I must execute/close every time) is because I like this game and I want to play it more. But... It seems that it's asking too much to update key bindings.

In my default.ahk, I added this:

#IfWinActive, ahk_exe DSPGAME.exe { z::MButton }

This will let you change the z key only when this game runs so you don't have to "execute/close every time".
