I wonder if this is by design though? I mean, should the ships even take off if they don't have warp fuel? The problem is, you can't just throw more vessels into the station when this happens, which means the entire station is useless until the ships arrive which can take hours.
Some confirmation checkbox in the station UI like "Take off without warp fuel" would be nice to have.
It's early access though... AI Quirks like this is to be expected. A patch would be appreciated though.
p/s agree what is stupid, when vessels try to perform interstellar flight - w/o warp fuel
is there a bugfix (deconstruct stations?)
But they are planning to fix the issue by adding a option for distance to the interstellar logistic stations in the near future (before the Chinese New Year holidays, which begin at February 11th).
Like when you dont have a solid production of warpers, but need resources from other systems to keep producing warpers.
Nah, only home station has to provide warp cores. Otherwise it would be impossible to automate interstellar supply chains. Well, maybe not impossible but still.
Anyway, I don't bother with providing warp cores on colonies and it works fine. Had to remove ships from off-world stations though.
Not to mention, ships on both sides means double throughput
