The best part? You can add mass to increase the lifespan of the black hole and reduce it's power output, or stop feeding it to decrease it's lifespan and increase it's output. Isaac Arthur discussed using them as starship generators / starship engines. That's also how I was introduced to Nicoll Dyson beams and Shkadov Thrusters.
When something with mass gets sucked in by a blackhole, it gets accelerated and the magnetic field of the blackhole ultimately creates giant jets of energetic particles from it.
This is probably what they mean.
You could make it so you have to feed the blackhole and in return you get energy based on the mass you feed it.
Also just fyi, blackholes themselves also lose energy, you should google Hawking Radiation, its too complicated to explain in a video game forum post.
you cant create energy, or destroy it, you can only change one form of energy into the other
which means that the only reason to "mine" a black hole is for its hawkings radiation, that you then somehow have to convert to usable energy, and that can sustain itself in the proccess and to offer a surpluse
they are 3D cones
cheez i give up, go harness a black hole, good luck
You literally do not know a damn thing you are talking about.
Log off.
Well at least you're entertaining to everyone here haha.
I have been following this thread and I posted a while ago a simple down to earth metaphor to explain how to harvest energy from black hole.
I have this concept of what black hole are like based on real science that is shared by many posters in here and also the physic community at large.
Most post by you so far in this thread reject everything based on those quoted real science. You will have to figure out for yourself if you want to continue push those theories of your own that only you seem to know about.
If he isn't... heh...
I would advice this thread to be closed, its going nowhere.
