No titanium ore on my starting planet.
I don't know if its a bug or there is another way to get titanium ore?

that's intended.

You can get some ore from breaking rocks (not stone veins), but in order to set up automation you will have to go to other planets to source a proper supply.

that is for tutorial and for starter we all don't have titanium ore in first planet... its not a bug...
you need to get into other planet to start mining titanium...

As far as i can tell, you always start with the same resources on the starter planet: Iron, Copper, Stone, Oil.

Any other resources needs to be transported from other planets (you can research the stuff needed to travel to other worlds without titanium, however you do need titanium to eventually research automatic transport of goods between worlds).

Do note that titanium is guaranteed to spawn on a planet in the starter system (just not on the starter planet).

As space king mentioned you can get some from mining the scattered stones on the starter planet, but you will likely need to fly over to a planet with titanium and set up a outpost and manually transport a inventories worth of titanium a few times.

I got the solar sail and im flying over a new planet but can't land, how do I do I land on a new planet?

If you are in sail mode just press alt (or wait, you will fall once you are out of energy and sail in atmosphere drains energy). If you are in space mode aim towards the planet and press forward.

Note that some planets (for example gas giants) has no solid land mass so you can't land on them (you just hover above their surface).

I just face plant into it while traveling at 150 million kilometers / min or whatever the AU to km cal would be.

You probably get to the Gas or Ice Giant (your start planet it's satellite) - you cannot land there. Go to 2 other planets that little further.

Mine refers to sail mode as space mode. I didnt know how to slow down the sail mode, and hit alt.... missed the planet when it angled me down, and then panicked spending the next 10 minutes slowly turning around to get back to the planet i missed.
(we need a slow down button in sail mode)

different topic; Has anyone found planets outside the solar system?
I'm just dipping into yellow cubes, but browsed a ton of the other star systems, but found 0 planets.

the slow down button is S. where W orients you to whatever you pointed the camera at.

it's a bit weird.

As far as going outside the star system goes, it doesn't show you the planets until you actually get to a given star, as I understand it. I don't have warps yet so I haven't tried.

I haven't gotten the last scanner upgrade, but yeah planets in other star systems don't show unless you're in them. But at lest the tier 3 scanner is enough to know about your neighbouring stars, if your looking for materials

That was the issue thank you!

I think your trying to land on a gas planet, normally your planet is circling a gas giant. You cant build there, only 1 special building. Go to map view and zoom out and look for a planet with the correct resources. Try to go there. And take a lot of fuel with you.

you can also get quite a bit of the starting world, dont knwo why trees and rocks have some but they do :)
