Star Lifting and Small notices

It would be kinda nice if there was star lifting, where you're able to put small vessels in orbit around stars, extracting tons of usable metals, hydrogen, and more, but mainly extract limitless metals from stars. Also, don't planets have a crust? It would be nice if you could extract from said crust either stone or something else, mainly just for security in investments.
