Have you considered centralizing your storage? Move all your picker bins to a single location, so you can just find that one place and pick up whatever you're looking for. Belts are cheap, and planets are (relatively) small.
This is what YouTubers call a "mall", "hub", or "nexus", depending on who you're watching.
But I'd love someway to be able to locate stuff.
I do that as well ...
I've pretty much put the game on hold. Its a fine game, I can't really complain about it ... but I just get tired of having to fly around trying to find stuff.
And I have to admit, I got to where you start building rings for power and that is just fricking tedious as hell, and if building the dyson sphere itself is anything like the rings ... I have no interest in that as an end game.
I'll go back to it some day but when I find myself looking at other RL things to do because I am finding the game boring (with the rings) ...
For now I'm farting around with Valheim and Evil Genius 2.
i know its not a fix, but something Ive found useful to find my production lines.
Look at us jumping through hoops to compensate for something that should be in the game. LOL!
