i take the default
but if i have to restart i will take infinite ^_^
If I want to do that I will play Factorio. :D Thanks for the subtle hint.
If this was an multiplayer game it wouldn't be such a bad thing, but doing all this alone? No thank you.
Also, the further you are from your starting system, the nodes offer more resources per.
Rare materials have to be imported from other systems, and depending on the size of your production layouts, you might even need to import everything down to basic materials just to get the throughput to keep the factory running.
Asked about this, because you just can't know these things unless you have played the game and gotten to late game.
but since you like normal resource settings in factorio, chances are good you are fine with the default x1 settings, especially since they equate to rather high settings in facotrio anyways, but ultimatively only you can tell.
id also like to point out that there is a repeatable research later in game which, with enough researches, makes resources infinite for all practical purposes (meaning unless you intentionally ignore this particular research, you can not mine out the universe even if you tried - no matter the settings)
but seems you decided already anyway.
