How to use blueprints?

So I have the today's update, 0.8.19.7715, I see Ctrl+C in settings for "Copy and create blueprints", but... nothing happens for Ctrl+C. No amount of clicking with or without Ctrl+C, in or outside of build mode... nothing.

What is this?

did you research blueprints? theyre in the upgrade section.

There is a blueprint menu button in the bottom panel where buildings are. Click it and see if it opens. Also you need to research it in research tree for upgrades (second page).

And then, when you use it, it is very bright, hard to see, as you drag a white box over a very bright background. Good luck, it can be done, but you might want to turn down your brightness a little first :) especially if you have spread concrete everywhere!

Also I must point out that many people have had trouble with BPs because they simply will not respect those lines on the globe where the boxes change size, commonly know as 'Fault Lines' You CANNOT place BPs across those lines, so this should help force people to build east west and not across those lines :) Have Fun!

I did not. I completely missed the need to research them first. That was dumb of me. Thanks for the hints!
