You have to research it first.

It's a 5 stages research. Check upgrades page! :D
Every step allows more numerous amounts of items per blueprint. Also once researched, you can press Ctrl-C to enter in blueprint mode to select and copy, save and load stuff, and Ctrl-V to directly load latest copied blueprint.

Blue Prints are awesome, just tried them out, after my kids are in bed, i have several production lines are getting redone.

Guys, do you even read the tooltips? :D

After researching the Blueprint tech, you can either use ctrl+c to start creating a blueprint or ctrl+v to use one. By clicking on the blue book you open the blueprint manager where you can export/import/delete blueprints.

Remember this is just version 1 so expect improvements as we go along. I expect we will have a blueprint button on the screen like the research button in the future.

only improvement i could see is ignore building a part of a blueprint if building object is already present (for overlapping) and MAYBE some way to edit a previous BP without having to build it.

but yeah, i used the new feature to redo my oil processing line, works fantastic.

I agree for overlapping fix, but since this was allready a request since the chain building update, I think we will get this as a next improvment.

But hell yeah, the Blueprint feature is just awesome. A crazy time saver! :)

For those wondering how you actually select a blueprint from the library to PLACE the blueprint... Double click the icon of the blueprint you created.
