Equatorial line
Is there a way to find the Equator fairly easily? Right now the only way I can think of would be to build inwards from both edges (of the innermost grid) in equal parts until I find a center

Look next to the minimap in the lower left. There it shows your coordinates.
Equator is at 0° N or S

Someone suggested something like this before, but when the grid is highlighted, it'd be a nice feature to have the equator show in a different color.

both the Equatorial grid line AND Hemispherical grid lines are thicker than any other grid line. they are rather easy to spot.

If it's good for you, fine. But the difference in thickness is minuscule and I don't find it easy to spot at all. And I know I'm not alone in this.

miniscule? hardly, its nearly 10x the thickness of a regular grid line.

And it could still have a better visual distinction compared to other grid lines.

Yet could still be better, its not "10x thickness", I'm nearly 300 hours in and I still miss it, so yes, it could be better.

Yes, when I'm standing right on top of it, it's fairly clear to me as well. It's those rare times that I'm *not* standing on it.

Or, instead of complaining about something that's not an issue, you could just look at the coordinates on the minimap if you are so visually impaired you cannot tell the difference between a thin and a thick line. Like the very first post suggests... It's literally THE solution to your predicament...

Jesus, some people really have nothing better to do but to invent problems to complain about :csd2huh:

If it wasn't an issue for some people, those people wouldn't say "this is an issue for me, can something be done?". Think of everything you've ever complained about your life, that weren't a problem or an issue for others, did you have nothing better to do than complain? Following your logic, you did have nothing better to do.

Now, a simple line of code to change the colour for the equator would be very helpful in terms of accessibility as well, I have a cousin who is colour blind and he has problems distinguishing them, nothing he can do about it without buying expensive specialist glasses, wouldn't a chance to at least change the colour be beneficial to someone like that? Or because it doesn't impact you at all, he should be fine?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you don't see the absurdity of you complaining that *I* have nothing better to do than complain.

I don't see absurdity because there is none.

I literally had nothing better to do at that moment so I complained about a problem. I also have nothing better to do now, so I am explaining to you the obvious. The difference is that I didn't invent my issue, it's literally right there. There are people polluting discussions with non-issues, leading to the decrease in discussion quality.

Hope that helps you understand it a bit better. I'd wager no but can't say I didn't try.

You could've avoided writing all that if you have either read the first message in this thread, or actually read my comment. Here, I'll paste it over to you in case your scroll is broken or you've forgotten how to scroll up:

The solution to this "problem" already exists. Case closed. Problem solved. Thread is done. Move on.

And here we have another militant who believes he has the only correct answer. Its not a problem for me so it must not be a problem for anyone else. Blowhards like you just need to shut up and go away so others can express their feeling about a game they paid for just like you. Another wanna be moderator.
