An easy way to bait the crow into entering the code for the room after you get a camera set up is to activate an alarm clock, and throw it into the room through the window from outside, and then watch the camera while hiding in the dumpster outside that window.
Or you can just yeet a traffic cone at it, and the door will be broken open lol
I read through the "Patch 3 - More Bug Fixes" post and It did say that the code for the door will be random for each new game, exact quote being "Door code now changes for each new game"
