only dumb and rage baits topics get engagement on these forums for the most part

I’ve notice for the most part that only dumb or rage bait topic get engagement on these forums. If I want to talk about something smart like balancing sf6 uni mechanics or the current meta, I’m lucky to get like two peeps to respond.

But if I make up ♥♥♥♥ like everyone who plays sf6 is stupid, sf6 is woke and cams got a flat ass, I will get like 10 pages of engagement. Very strange if you ask me.

Its like no one is interested in the competitive side of the game or maybe I just suck at online conversations.

I posted "happy v-day/b-day" stuff for ken, and it got deleted. I'm thinking that 67 guy reported it, because he was the only who 1 replied with a negative comment. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I deleted my own thread because you posted spam that's not related to the topic and it was a necro so you could promote your artwork that nobody cares about.

It’s weird. You will find the most obnoxious person here with 1000 posts per day for a game he does not even play. Most of the posts are not game-related either, but to boast his fake “moral superiority” or some ♥♥♥♥.

Did try asking for advice on character specific mechanics. 2 people came to respond. Both were backseaters and one didn't even have fundamental knowledge of the mechanics.

More or so somewhat the same in every other platform. On twitter, it was just people that hated specific match up telling me to ♥♥♥. Reddit is like steam community hub but with onlyfans cosplays that the pervy old mods there like to see. There's little to no discussion on match up knowledge, frame data or character specific mechanics.

I've posted 2 questions here and users were quickly to genuinely and helpfully ask them, with one or two other users using the thread to vent
