Pick one thing at a time you want to learn or practice and spend some time on just that against a standing dummy or a CPU. Adjust the CPU’s difficulty to something that lets you comfortably practice.
Keep doing that and you’ll get the hang of things quickly. Experiment with combos until you settle on one or two that does decent damage and that you feel confident you can pull off consistently. This is a good starting point.
Also notice what control scheme your opponent is on. If they're modern don't jump too much. I will say it will be quite frustrating if you're on classic trying to do combos yourself and dropping them, or dropping motion inputs, for sure, but you got this.
In the annoying situations where you encounter people that feel like they're doing gimmicky stuff, like people who jump back just be patient. Allow them to put themselves in the corner.
Keep your combos simple - 3-4 hits tops, and make sure you can land them.
Then focus on spacing, blocking and understanding when not to press buttons. These are some of thr hardest things for beginners and even though you will always struggle with them being aware of their significance will pay off thr most early on.

how to get better? Tutorials ingame, youtube etc etc. Its 2025 I am sure you can gather your info except you are lazy.
My advice is to uninstall SF6 and to concentrate on Tekken. <3
Wow, so.. is Tekken King Lee getting smoked in Street Fighter?
