Buying specific amounts of Fight Coins

Yea that's sadly the standard. And the exact reason companies use those kinds of currencies. It's manipulative and unethical as hell, but there are no rules against it and people are dumb enough to make it pay better than the alternatives. As long as there are enough morons, they will keep using the methods designed to get money from them.

Either work for regulation of monetization in the game industry, yell at people that facilitate the current methods, come up with a better and more stable economical model than capitalism, or accept that they world sucks and you're nothing but a product to be marketed and sold by people who at best doesn't see you as human and at worst considers you disgusting and takes pleasure it demeaning you.

It's a predatory system through and through.

First it forces you to buy more than you need - getting money out of you. But afterwards it leaves you with remaining points, which just taunt you every time you log in with a "if you had just a little bit more you could get something".

And that's ignoring the fact that by disassociating the points from real money, people don't feel like saving up - it starts feeling like pixel gold rather than dollar signs. And, hell, I imagine some loopholes further allow them to skimp on taxes.

I think the best method to get all characters if by getting the 1250 bundle, that means you get all 4 chars for less than the $30 they have on the bundle.

Buttt as I see it says (valid for 180 days in Japan), does that apply elsewhere also, or just JP? lol

each character is 350 ingame coins
1250/350 = ~3.57

you get 3 fighters and a bunch of leftover like all the other scam coin purchases and you dont get 4 characters nor do you get their costumes as you would with season pass

overall its pretty scummy
