and then there's a green button to "request access"

idk i kinda dont wanna pre load i did that with jedi survivor and had to uninstall re install it any ways

I think that Pre loading downloads the whole game for the Open Beta portion. The game could be launched as of now, the only factor which restricts you from playing would be the online servers which would only be open on May 19 to May 22. Therefore there should be no unpacking when it launches on May 19, Capcom would just need to open the server and we would be able to enter past the main menu. I could be wrong tho.

dude, this install game button does not appear when i accessed the store page. It only says "requested access"

Should i still download from your link?

Just click the "Install Game" right from the comments here. I did that, now it's downloading.

first go to SF6 main page and under the game purchase options (standard, deluxe, etc) there is one button to request access. Do that, then you can download the open beta.

This. If you click the green "request access" button, you will see another green button to download the game in the same place after your request is approved.
For me, my request was instantly approved and I immediatly saw the download button there.

Nope already done that, it literally breaks the steam library too and I have to restart the steam client.

For me, my request was instantly approved and I immediatly saw the download button there.

Once I clicked "request access" button it just refreshed the page and there is only the demo button and 3 pre order sf6 versions buttons there... there is no "download the game". any suggestions ?
