Capcom ID issue

Guys, im gonna screw this ♥♥♥♥ seriously.

I created a CAPCOM ID but im unable to link my this Steam account cos im given the following message ;

"This external account is already linked to another CAPCOM ID."

How can i solve this problem?

Maybe you have a capcom account already under a different e-mail?

Did you create one for Resident Evil 4? I think Capcom ID was introduced for that game.

Go to their website and reset your password. You probably already know the email it is linked to.

did anyone get a fix for this? I've just tried linking my only email and got this message. kind of annoying that i now own a single player fighting game.
