I guess that means Snoopdog is an out-of-touch 50 year old boomer.
We get it. You don't like the music. Do you spend any time talking about music that you actually like?
I mean, its not "wanna take you for a ride" good; or "this is true love" good, but...honestly, what is?
If they did for rap what guilty gear did for rock and metal and gave every character a unique vocal theme, I'd be all over this game's music.
In SF6, Guile has a daughter, who he takes to see Dee Jay's concerts. Guile reveals he doesn't like Dee Jay's music, and reveals that he's into country music
He's old now. His character theme reflects someone who is calmer, and less a man-of-action and more a man-of-precision. He literally fights to train others, which he did with Luke.
Go talk to him in World Tour and finish his Arcade mode. You'll get a better sense at why his music is different, and in my opinion, a lot cooler.

I listen to snoop, and therein lies the problem with trying to speak for others.
This is not the case with his SF6 theme. Is it a bad track? Not really, but I really don't get Wandering 40 year old Japanese fight-hobo from it.
I'm also just so puzzled by the insistence that it's "Street fighting" so it's gotta be rap/hip hop? I have never heard that either of those things are synonymous with street fights. I'm sure the implication is that "Well, that's what 'Street' music is." and even then I'm puzzled.
Because that heavily depends on where you're from. When I was growing up, "Street music" as in the music you'd hear out of a boombox on the street corner was predominantly Punk.

Spin:
How does hip hop and the game’s more urban setting and appearance play into Street Fighter 6?
Terayama:
The music of Street Fighter 6 is heavily influenced by hip-hop culture. It respects and blends the melodious game music that has been passed down through the series with the various musical elements derived from hip-hop culture.
Matsumoto:
A couple good examples of how Street Fighter has shown its hip-hop influences are the graffiti in the intro cinematic in the original Street Fighter as well as the hip-hop sounds of Street Fighter III. After all, “Street” is in the title. Graffiti, dance, rap, and DJ sounds — I want to include all four of these major elements firmly in Street Fighter 6.
Hip hop match intros are so stupid I can't even process who ever thought of placing them there.
It kinda reminds me of Filthy Frank weeaboos video and his Cowboy Tanaka (appropriating culture)

True.
