I run mine on performance and the only thing I've had to change was the frame rate from 60FPS to 120FPS. No more lag, hope it helps you too.

What's your basis for optimal settings? When digital foundry does this, they consider what settings have little visual impact but cost frame rate across several different hardware configurations.

See, hardware matters. My last PC would have had to carefully pick settings based on impact. Current one I run top settings on everything.
I do wish it had dedicated Fullscreen mode though.

:MS2Slime: the whoosywhatty? I guess my basis would just be me going in and out of settings slowly changing graphics until my game didn't lag when playing the board breaking mini games. I'm not entirely sure what you mean but I'm running a GTX 1070 and a ryzen 5 3600. wasnt aware that digital foundry was a thing :toriel:
The game is poorly optimized every setup will have different outcomes

Lucky you I'm on a 7th gen i7 with a 6gig 3060 rtx game and OS on nvme still freezes more than a break dancer.

Just Use the nvidia setting in the 3d option.

i HAVE TO CORRECT MYSELF... There is no fullscreen mode but only Borderless windows so the Upscaling doesn't work, only the sharpening :-(
