Are you happy with the first DLC characters?

I'm sitting at 50/50.

A.K.I. and the new Ed are inreresting (even though he should've been in the main game, already, or left out) but couldn't care less about Akuma or Rashid (who, like Ed, should've been on the main roster, already, or left out).

Capcom should make a poll and ask the community what characters they really want, honestly.

Something like "Here's 50 characters from previous games that we want to bring back but we can only give you 25. Which ones do you want?" or some crap of the sort. That would actually hype players to acquire the damn DLC's rather than being left in the dark only to get garbage down the line.

So you actually have no issues being left in the dark and paying for a future character pack that could be mediocre, at best and garbage at worst, instead of having everything already figured out so you don't jump, head first, into nasty surprises.

You can call it faith on the developers all you want but there's only two words for it: apathy and stupidity.

Glad there's the standard edition so I'm not left at the hands of fate and such community. Wack.

I'm more than happy with the Season 1 DLC characters.
I just hope we see the return of some high demand characters. Makoto, Dudley, Twins etc.
That would be so hype!

That's why I'm excited for Akuma in SF6

them immediately announcing the entire pass rather than dripfeeding it is already a lot better than the usual treatment

ie arcsys with the "lol guess whether this strive dlc is a character we already showed a model for or is brand new" or even the "lol try and guess how many characters dnf duel is even going to get out of this pass"

I only really care about Akuma, and only a little at that.
That might change when they finally come out, but I'm not really interested in any of the upcoming DLC fighters.

I like that they told us who all was going to be part of the DLC roster for the year though, so I already know I'm not interested so I don't get my hopes up waiting for them to announce who's coming next.

there are many characters that only a few people really enjoy, a popularity poll would homogenise the roster I'm almost certain. That and influencers have such an effect on the casual crowd it would allow them to force certain chars in.

Ed seemed interesting until I read more about him from SFV. So, no but I also don't care. I'm a newcomer to SF so I don't have any attachment to characters.

I assume A.K.I is going to play like Fang so ez pass for me I don't care about any of the returning fighters.

Not really, I really feel like these 4 characters should've been on the main roster.
As it stands SFV and SF6 year one are exactly the same and end at 22 characters, I'm guessing that's why the first pass is only 4 characters, they probably took 2 from it to add in main roster because having the same numbers in it would've been a big no no.

Other than that idk if ed and rashid deserved to come back this quick in sf6 lifespan, imo no we just got out of 5 and there's plenty of other characters I'd rather see.

I don't care about Rashid or ED at all. A.K.I could be interesting. And of course Akuma is the best character in SF, so that's always a win.

I don't know what to think because I haven't seen how they play, but I do like the designs. Aki and Akuma look sick.

Not personally interested in any of them. Probably won't change my main so all it gives me is more matchups and less chance of mirror matches. Which is cool, but not terribly exciting.

I think they'll sell a lot of Akuma skins and he'll be a big hit though. A.K.I. as well given how popular female characters seem to be.
