Now, I don't rematch JP because I just don't have fun against him, win or lose. It's a frustrating fight no matter what and I'm just not willing to waste my time with that, but they are absolutely beatable and in some matchups downright gimped.
I'll never tell you to rematch something you don't find fun. We all hopefully play games for fun and you certainly should dole out your time the way you choose to.
... however, neither Manon nor JP are 'broken'. They're just a very different challenge than your average brawler or rushdown. Not much different from Dhalsim, Guile, Zangief and other classic characters that break the standard gameplans apart and force you to adapt to a different one to win.
If she didn't have her obscene damage potential and strong oki, she'd be awful.
If you mean boring fights than avoid jp, guile, luke and dhalsim.
