No M. Bison?
Why would anyone remove iconic outfits and characters that made the early game a great success?

Because they cannot figure out how to make anything good, and want to leave their stain on something that WAS good, so they use a name "Street Fighter" to carry their sales, and an updated engine and graphics model, but put their own terrible spin on it because cReAtiVe LoOk aT Me I diD sTuFf BeCuzzzzz.

That's why this game is lacking. People who lack respect and vision put in charge of making games, this game is no different.

Why didn't these clowns just have him be in the game?
How is having a staple of a game or expecting that trolling?
look would you rather not have him at all?
i remember in sfv guile, balrog, sagat, e.honda, akuma and blanka didn't make it to launch and were all dlc. stop whining. at least sf6 has the core 8 world warriors and are slowly adding back the rest.

I want the game to be good. Fans are coming from a perspective which in my opinion is incestuous. When Street Fighter and Street Fighter 2 were made, they thought of the biggest and baddest types of fighters from around the world, and gave them really great music, and outfits that made sense.

This game is a copy of that great old game, in the 3D form, as extended from SF4 and SFV.

I very much hated SFV, because the characters are very poorly dressed and look stupid. They aren't relatable and make ZERO sense.

Why is Ken wearing something a teenager would wear when he has aged? Why is young Ken in a Gi and looks like a serious conservative fighter?

Why was everyone in SF 2 a jerk who scared you, both in stance, words, and appearance?
Why are many of these characters taking on some kind of anime look instead of a Fighter look?

Why is this so difficult?

I have a solution for you: go play SF2 then.

Seriously, you sound like a boomer. If that's the reason you hate the game because of character designs, just don't play it, or you'll see more characters that look even more ridiculous, like a woman with an umbrella as her hair. They may look funny and ugly as hell, but that's what makes them unique and not boring to look at, unlike in SF2.

Why is the game called "Street Fighter 6?"

Why isn't it called New Fighter?

Why isn't it called Fist Fight Online?

Why isn't it called something else?

Because Street Fighter is popular since it came out in the 1990s. They are using something that was good to promote a product that was good. That product did not have women with Umbrellas and goofy outfits, it had fighters, and no one playing it complained about how boring the outfits looked.

If you want really interesting outfits, play Skull Girls.
Try playing Guilty Gear. Try King of Fighters.

Why are you even playing Street Fighter 6? For outfits?

Why don't you play Tekken 7? They have a ton of silly and goofy outfits too.

I'll talk about it all I want on the forums. Call what I am saying whining, okay well stop whining about my topic and follow your advice.

The amount of characters should be more than the last game. The DLC should go away, and the game should just cost more if it's more to make. When they put out a good product, they won't need to worry about money because people will love it and buy it. Giving characters back is lame af. This is why Capcom has lost money on so many games in the bast 10 years, they keep trying new terrible ideas to make more money instead of worrying about making a great game.

If the game was finished, then they wouldn't need to worry about DLC, because all that stuff would just be unlocked through gameplay.

You paid for a finished game, right?

Why would you have to pay again? Also why do people who pay more get to have an extra character? Isn't that unfair to players who bought the game who might now be able to afford a DLC like some kids who play????

Capcom has literally been on a financial boom since RE7 came out. Even less impressive games like RE3 remake did little to slow that down

Good question. But as you said RE3 was a problem.

RE2 remake was not the problem. Why?

RE2 remake was nothing more than a copy of the original with improved controls and graphics. HUGE HIT!

RE3 Remake was an innovation in some ways, and was way less popular. They also didn't have Mercenary Missions, I think they put some new stupid multiplayer mode that was trash. Not as fun, didn't make as much money.

So their silly innovations without talent make a worse product, and thus result in the loss of money.

I see the same with the Street Fighter games. Costumes look bad, because they aren't things a fighter would wear. Also old people don't wear more stylish clothes, young people do. Why is this reversed in Street Fighter 6???

RE7 was their biggest game released in 2017

RE2 and 4 remake were even more successful. But their boom started with RE7

Monster Hunter World and Rise were big successes too. SF6 has been doing great. Dragon’s Dogma 2 has done great in sales as well

Like the only thing released during this whole period that might’ve been a flop was RE3 remake. And I’m not even sure if it was considered a failure sales-wise

I am sure RE4 was great, not sure if they innovated on that much or not, but if they stayed true to it with improvements, then you can't go wrong with a great old product. Remember these old products were made by people with real talent and they were loved. That is why a remake would be successful if it stays true. I understand SF games went from 2D animation to 3D, during the SF EX era and eventually became the norm for SF4 and beyond. But the game is essentially a copy of the original type of fighting game made by the old school game developers who made a great product. It is still used today.

No reason to disrespect that chain of product that came from greatness, because it makes you and everyone else respect the title and want to buy the game. My problem is with silly changes that either don't make sense or don't improve the game.

Not having great characters in the game at release is a change and a poor one. Having default outfits that look like alternates if they don't make sense is a bad move imo. It makes the characters look silly and I thing it is a disrespect to them. Why would a game company banking off a respected name, disrespect their characters with bad outfits like Guile has, or disrespect their other characters by introducing ones that don't look anything like a fighter, but have a serious move set that allows for them to dominate, instead of be a pink Gi joke Dan character, which was the point.
RE7 made its budget back in a week, sounds like a success to me.

I guess you were one of Street Fighter III's biggest haters when that came out, that or not born yet. Also are we really going to argue that a franchise isn't allowed to evolve with the passage of time? Are we really going to ignore that one of the franchise's most popular characters (and even THE most popular character in Capcom's 2017 survey) is a goofball schoolgirl? Is a bandana on top of a school uniforms all it takes to look more like a fighter than a lady with claws? We could just make a mod to give AKI a bandana if it makes you happy. She'll look like a proper fighter then.

Street Fighter hasn't been a straight faced franchise in over 30 years, not when we have the Russian muscle man dancing with Gorbachev in his SF2 ending. Not when Blanka and Dhalsim exist at all. And certainly not ever since the Alpha series introduced Sakura and a literal weeb who LARPs being Japanese despite being an American guy from Metro City. Not when Street Fighter III's Ken ending stooped low enough to let him getting punched in the groin by his son be played for laughs.

If SF6 doesn't appeal to you, that's fine, we can't like eveything, I wasn't fond of IV despite buying both regular IV and Super IV to give it as fair of a shot as I could. But I'm not going to insist that makes IV an objectively bad game, it just means it didn't click for me. This whole ongoing squabble about 6 allegedly not being worthy of the Street Fighter title needn't happen. You can just say the game isn't for you, and move on to play a game that is for you. The ship has sailed, the deed has been done, even if this becomes the longest thread in Steam forums history Capcom isn't going to go and retool the entire game to suit your tastes when evidently it already pleases millions of players, including a lot of veterans.

I didn't like SF3 no. SF Alpha, Alpha 2 and Alpha 3 were great.

I think the Tech Counter was something big in SF3 and the play style allowed for some great fighting game advancements. I also think it was a totally different game that had 2 characters from SF2 in it and the rest were all new. Way worse character line up, and should have been called something else perhaps.

Some is opinion and some is grounded is fact. I could show you the making of SF2 and we could take a look at the fan built making of SF6 and we could deliniate the differences and why.

You're always welcome to dispute or debate whatever you want.

Sorry they don't cater Street Fighter to you, specifically. I personally would enjoy it more if they released all new characters every game, but that's just me. I still enjoy the games.
