Cammy main picking a secondary!

What will be a great secondary character that a Cammy main should play in order to learn the fundamentals of SF6 and have a better understanding of how to be a better player?

You can't go wrong with a Shoto. Ryu by design is the best character for learning fundamentals. He also got nicely buffed this patch

At the end of the day though, you should play whichever character you find cool

When I explore more characters, I try to start somewhere similar to my main. In this case, a character with a similar kit to Cammy would be somebody like Juri. Alternatively, you can also go the opposite route and try to get good with Zangief.

I'm currently comfortable with about a third of the cast in this game. The more characters you can become fluent with, the stronger you'll be as a player.

Not to downplay my main or anything but at times I feel like I have to work extra hard with her. Especially since 90% of people I encounter are good at keeping their distance.

All other characters are terrible. Except JP has massive OP fireballs if you want win.

Cammy is the best. She has more combos than any other characters combined.

Have you tried hooligan setups? There's like 30 of them to confuse the hell out of people. HAHA

Why choose other characters? boring.

Cammy is rushdown character. Maybe try Juri or Dee-jay then

depends on how good you are aiming to get, learning every character has its value in my opinion.

Ryu.
He's solid A Tier Character Now.
Very powerful and all round, very easy B&B combo for a massive punish. Also with him you are forced to play neutral in an honest way and you have to outsmart your opponents.

Alternatively Luke, which by the way is stronger, but with him you will realize soo that you only need one or two strategies to win and every round will become the same, as you try to get the "perfect" combo in.
