Is capcom going to pull a RE4 Remake move on this?
Hey, I was watching Nintendo Direct and saw that SF6 is gonna be released for the Switch 2 in a special edition named "Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition". And the same edition is also going to be released on Playstation.

My question is: will Capcom change the available buying options for this game on steam to sell this "Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition" on PC too?

They did something similar with Resident Evil 4 Remake and it pissed me off real bad because I bought the deluxe edition for RE4R expecting the Separate Ways to be included when it was ready, and instead what they did was lower the price of the base game considerably, sell the Separate Ways as DLC and than they pulled a Gold Edition out of their "S" and sold it CHEAPER than what I had paid for the deluxe edition of the game, and the DLC never goes on sale.

Is Capcom going to pull the same move for SF6 aswell? Does anyone knows?

Both announce trailers for this special edition are available on the official Street Fighter Youtube channel, as you can see below.

It says it in the description right there, all platforms PC included.

You didn't even read what I've posted. I'm talking about removing buying options.
The end of the first trailer you linked shows the "Steam" logo at the end of it so that new version or bundle of the game will be available on Steam.

How it will affect the existing buying options is unknown but looking at how they've handled it in the past with SF4, SF5 and other games is perhaps a good indication of how it will be handled.

Man, that sucks if they are going to do that. Forcing people that have the base game to by overly expensive DLCs to complete the package that the new bundle offers, I can't see that with good eyes.
