Elena is from SF3 and 4, she fights the Brazilian martial art capoeira (she would be Brazilian but they decided to make her Kenyan). As a character, she's so friendly that even Akuma likes her (SF4 ending). lol While Luke can't take a selfie with Ryu. Some people don't like her because she had a healing power that made fights unbalanced in SF4, but I think they'll either delete it or make it less unfair in SF6.

She's a non-entity character who was simply in SF Third Strike -- a game which SF6 is, as absurdly ironic as it may seem, a spiritual successor to.

The only good thing about the seeming wasted character slot that Elena occupies, is that more SF3 characters might be in the offing; such as, Hugo, Poison, and Gill... Not that I'm holing my breath for anything but to be further underwhelmed, that is.

While it's true that I probably won't main her, I had a fair bit of fun playing her in 3rd strike. I like capoeira characters, and I like that Capcom is putting her into the game, because she's an interesting character with a cool moveset, and I'm excited to see what they do with her healing super.

damn you right, you right, - lets also add hakan, rufus, twelve, el fuerte, retsu, decapre etc so i can improve. the best way to improve at a fighting game is to be completely turned off from its character selection to play. Hope the next SF game releases with 5 characters only and they're all re-skins of dan.
