I think you can set the training dummy to do those moves with those characters. You can practice blocking and punishing them until you got it down. Parry is probably better than straight up blocking. Perfect parrying is better, but the damage scaling is wack imo. Perhaps if they telegraph their move and you react, you can jump and punish that way.

Terry is only plus if he does it on fixed distance (visual screen shake). It, and Ken’s dragonlash you have to react on startup.

Akuma is just BS pay2win OP but to turn off his demon raid (assuming this is what you mean) use air-to-air counter with a normal.

hot tip: Drive Reversals are a decent option against multi-hitting specials. Nobody ever uses them, so nobody ever really expects them, making it an easy way to discombobulate opponents. It's especially good for flummoxing AKIs. While you can't get a massive wombo combo off it, just throwing someone off their game can drastically change the flow of the match.

Well, yes, every character has moves that allow them to continue pressure - otherwise no one would ever attack and would be focused purely on blocking and always win. You need to know when it is your turn to act and when it is not.

Terry’s lunge punch is spacing specific - it will be plus only when it is executed at a right range - I think you can drive rush through it if you time it right, you can jump and punish or parry. If you know enemy relies on it, you can prepare a trap for him. Or you can try to keep spacing that will make burn knuckle be minus on block, though Terry will work to set up the opposite.

Every character has moves like that - learn to utilise yours, Lear to counter your enemies’.
