I just bought the game, 6hrs already in, and I can barely find online matches... Doesn't matter if its ranked or casual, extended search or whatever. I only BARELY find players, with 1 red bar of connection...

It's a region lock problem. I use Mullvad VPN, it's the cheapest option that works well for me

Sometimes MMing can get bugged. You need to stop the search, give it 10 seconds, and restart it. And stop it as in turn it off completely.

I figured this out a while ago. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. ¯\_(-_-)_/¯
It seems like the higher you rank, the longer you wait!

I keep getting communication errors while opening the game. Its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gamble at this point. I have to restart the game several times to finally get to the main menu and start my 30 min queue... I dont understand it cus I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good internet, I play all other online games with the most optimal ping the server can offer... Idk what to do ;C

The really sucks, I've never had problems getting matches since the release of the game. It's the opposite for me, I get too matches, I can't get a breather in between matches. But right the servers are about to go into maintenance mode to prepare for Mai's release. Your problem could be a unique regional thing, or like someone said a VPN thing.

Sorry this is happening to you my man. The game is VERY alive and more active than any fighting game I've played. I've never had this issue myself but I was getting connected with people who had bad connection until I changed a setting. You can make sure you only queue with player who have 4 bars or higher I believe should be in your fighter menu. I refuse to play with terrible connection as well.. I wish you luck friend.

Appreciate each and every one of you guys! I know this game is prob the most active fighting game ever... for the few games ive played, ive actually enjoyed it the MOST. Ive been an mk fan for years, with tons of hours into netherealms games... This is the first time EVER playing Street Fighter and is such a refreshing fighting game for me that I trully just want to enjoy it and grind it... I think im region locked or something, which is unfortunate... I think i might format my pc just in case, I trully want to play this game :C

Mmm Yo dejé el Mk1 porque no encontraba jugadores para jugar y los pocos que encontraba no aceptaban partida (Las personas de USA no les gusta el 160 de ping =( ) Soy de Colombia y juego por cable, tengo un buen internet. Con el street no tengo tanto problema, encuentro partida bastante frecuente, pero siempre son las mismas tres personas en bucle xD. Quizá el problema es que estos juegos son muy de nicho y vivimos en el pais incorrecto para jugarlos. ojalá puedes solucionar tu problema, quizá una posible solución sea cambiar de proveedor de internet (PD: entre la 1pm a 11pm encuentro partidas mucho mas rápido)

Same problem. These issues are non-existent in T8. Unfortunately the only stable way to play online is via battle hub.

after the update i been getting connection issues could be they just messed up some how and its only affecting some people i also get the errors in battle hub got DC in the middle of avatar battle

can you try diff router just to be sure it's not by your ends ?
