Interesting. Seems like we won't have to finish pre-Mai BattlePass before getting to play with her. I wonder if it was planned, or a reaction to community's growing unrest.
Was that a special intro with Chun-Li?
Gameplay looks good.
I wonder if there'll be Mai is broken complains.
Also she looks fine.
Not the best but could be worse, way worse.
At least she has some micro-jiggle. Considering the day and age in the west, this is the best we can have, without using mods.
Considering Capcom's commitment to quality I can't imagine some grumbling in the western fandom would make them fastlane a release if it meant sacrificing on the quality. They were working on slight tweaks and improvements to AKI right up until release so they don't seem like the types who'd release a character before she's absolutely ready.
Oh sure. I am just wondering if it's one of, or if they changed how they release characters.
To be honest, some people always seemed confused by "character x, arrives!" BattlePasses, so perhaps releasing character with battlepass might be better than having to wait for the character for another couple of weeks.
She is not a charge character. Nice.
Interesting solution with her dive - I was wondering about that from the trailer. She can only dive from forward charge, or with target combo (that's the one which she does first in the trailer I assume).
The fiery version of certain specials and art1&2 come from a resource stack - you get it by using art1 - not sure if there are other ways of gaining it, or not.
