Laptop hard drive or external SSD?
Hello. My gaming laptop is the ASUS - ROG Zephyrus 14” WQXGA 120Hz Gaming Laptop – AMD Ryzen 9– 16GB DDR5 Memory – AMD Radeon RX 6700S – 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Meanwhile, I bought an external 2TB Samsung SSD drive.

When I tried playing SF6 after installing it on the SSD drive, it crashed twice as I was trying to go through the first part of the tutorial. Meanwhile, I was able to get through the entire tutorial with no issue after I installed the game on my laptop's hard drive.

Should I just keep it installed on my laptop's hard drive? Or is it worth trying the SSD drive again?

Thank you.

Keep it on the laptop, it'll be more stable overall, especially if you plan to play a lot. I'm assuming you are using an usb for the external for the laptop which is generally not ideal for big video games in terms of performance and load times. Maybe simpler smaller games would be fine on the external.

ur external cable wouldn't even capitalize the SSD speed

Never play a game from an external drive.
