Good Controller für SF6?

I took a long break from fighting games. I now bought SF6 an I struggle with my Switch Pro Controller to hit some inputs like ↓ ↘ → + A correctly, if I do them to fast. It won't count the ↘ and I think it's the D-pad.

So I would like to know, what Controller you use for SF6 or what you would recommend.

Edit: I don't wann play on keyboard and I would like to play on classic mode.

I just play on keyboard tbh

I played on keyboard, then moved to an all-button lever-less controller. Keyboard is well supported for this game so you should give it a try.

Leverless. Keyboard is a good way to learn it. Q / W / E for left / down / right, space for jump. Yes, space for jump, I promise it's a good idea, look up a picture of a Hitbox controller layout. Six keys for P and K, e.g. the Insert and Delete rows. Other buttons you have at hand for throw, drive rush, drive parry e.g. right shift and ctrl under my thumb.

I bought a custom-made leverless controller from https://furinarcade.co.uk/. It's amazing. I'm also using it for Tekken 7 and KOF XV.

"I don't wann play on keyboard" - if you have a mechanical gaming keyboard then it will literally cost you 0 currency to give it a go.

XBox controllers have poor d-pads. If you don't use analogue stick, go PS4.

PS5 is okay, but Victix Procon BFG is better (but expensive).

I would totally be in the camp suggesting keyboard or leverless but you seem to prefer pad. My favorite pad is typically a standard PS4 controller. I really like the D-pads on em and they're overall decently ergonomic.

The Series X/S are awful. They went back to the garbage disc based pads the Xbox 360 used. I have an Xbox One controller and it's got the best pad of a default controller I have seen in years.

I bought myself a Razer Wolverine as a birthday present and the mechanical clicky four-separate-buttons-dpad is absolutely amazing.

PS4 or Xbox variant of the Power A Fusion fight pad. Best d-pad, 6 face buttons and 4 unique shoulder buttons for DI/parry/PP/KK.

8bitdo pro 2. I use analog stick doing motion. Works wonder on Manon. I don't use dpad except D rush or backdash. Yea, sue me. I can't use dpad cause that makes my thumb hurt and I need my thumb on something else
