How do you learn Perfect charge timing?
Thinking of trying Guile for a change. The only gripe would be the Perfect Sonic Booms in a lot of his damaging combos. Are there any good place or way to learn these timings?

It does introduce charging as minigame, but from what I can concur, it's not perfect charge timing. It let's you charge as much as you want and releasing at the moment the object comes into range. It's close, but not really the stuff I need to play Guile.

If I recall, perfect timing of Sonic Boom is you pressing both forward and any punch together with a 3 frame window. Just go to training mode and pay attention where you screw up to help clean up your input.

Oh, it's not the 45frame perfect input , but the input release at the end. Thanks for clarification. I'll give this a try

Yeap, perfect does not depend on how long you held the charge but when you press both punch and forward together at the same time.

In short, after holding a direction, you got 10 frames to do forward and punch after to get sonic boom. Perfect boom is you getting forward and punch at the same time in a 3 frame window. You might be not be getting perfect boom if you did forward then punch. Remember, it is both together quickly.

It is slightly harder during combo but after practicing a bit, you'll get it.

Press button within... it's either 3 or 4 frames of the second motion input.

Just try to press the bottom at the same time, I guess I'm used to it cause just frame inputs have been in tekken forever.

As others have said, it's just about when you press the button with the second motion input. Has nothing to do with the actual charge timing.

Ah, makes sense. I might go pad or hitbox for this char. It's kinda hard grasping when the game recognize the directional input with sticks atm.
