the super gives you about a second to do both quarter circles, unless you're trying to cancel it, in which case it's a bit tighter depending on what you're canceling from.
go to practice and spend some time learning to do clean quarter circles in both directions with the least movement you can, slowly speed it up as you get used to it.
make sure to take breaks every 5-10 minutes though, both to reset your grip, and to give your wrist a rest
This is actually critical. Developing muscle memory requires you to stop at intervals. Don't grind it out for hours at a time - do 10-15 minute bursts then walk away for 5-10 minutes.
Arcade stick can be tricky, and take a lot of practice. I've bought a leverless controller - even though I have a stick - as I've tried with keyboard movement inputs feel great.
old vid but still relevant.
also youll want to learn how certain moves can be shortcut-ted on a stick liek for example DP.
forward, down, down forward, P
if you are say in a crouching position. and you are already holding down forward. so all you need to do for a DP is move the stick from downforward to down and back to downforward +P
the DF input also counts as forward.
Other than that I highly recommend to try a bat top and an octagonal gate. After years of playing on a standard Sanwa ball top and a square gate the improvement was instant. Not even a brief adjustment period.
26236 + button. If you don't understand the numbers, you can look at the keypad on your keyboard. The numbers represent the position of the stick. so 2 would be down, 6 would be forward and 3 would be down forward.
