There's a tournament standard IMO that's the best as if you ever take your play to a higher level you would have to relearn to play the game with a different standard

there are other configurations that offer certain advantageous for certain character specific tech but overall unless you are maining multiple games and need to align to one standard across all of them it is IMO best to just do as capcom says and use CPT standard.

In the case of instant flash kicks, yeah it's faster and more precise if "up" takes priority. However, I would just go with tournament legal as mentioned above.

There are tons of shortcuts in the neutral socd, and since street fighter is using it, it will probably become the standard.

My leverless came CPT compliant and I haven't even thought about changing the settings really.

Look at counter strike two. And their stance on keyboard socd. They are banning players who don't manually disable hardware socd so no reason to risk that happen in fighting games. I could see Capcom one day implementing it as a rule for online play that you must use tournament legal socd. Which tbh it's kind of absurd that they dont.

I think that's covered in Attachment C section 4.2.3

non-compliant made certain things easier, and I will be trying to attend at least one major this year so that I can drown in pools, and get stomped in casuals all weekend. So I've been using CPT compliant.
