Street Fighter II: V shows how better writing World Tour could have had

The writing of World Tour is so absolutely F-tier and it is a shame, they could have just used SFII: V story and it would have been infinitely better.

Shame, because when you have such a crappy tedious gameplay you should be doing your best to use the iconic characters and world of SF franchise, instead of this "story" we got.

If anyone did not watch that animated series go ahead and do so. I am watching it now and although it starts out terrible and is so very slow paced, it is still a very entertaining non-canon re-imagination of SF2.

It feels like ♥♥♥♥♥ is not understandable character because of bad writing or there's some intention making him look stupid or nonsense. Why? I don't know.

Suddenly he becomes our absolute bestie and we supposed to.. Care about him and cry or something? I dunno..

I actually think if the writing weren’t below mediocre that mode would have been enjoyable instead of torture to grind alt costumes (for me at least). Wish they took inspiration from anime I mentioned or had its writer write something canon for World Tour.

P.S: when I say writing I don’t even mean main plot only, but the universe and its vibe, backstories of masters and their personalities and interactions too. It is a huge deal.

Again I suggest watching that anime - I reached Vega (the bloodthirsty prince!!) episode and it is SO entertaining. If you loved animated movie of SF2 you would probably love this as it has the same director.
