At the very least I want the walk speed back, beyond that would love to see her stance game get some tweaks to make it more rewarding and central to her character. Most of the time you are using it to in DRC cancels to juggle, or throw out kind of safe kikokens without charge.
Every now and then you'll use it in a mix up, but it sees almost no use in neutral.
Yeah that's actually a fair point. Chun Li is the "But we have Ed at home" version of Ed in S2. She's still a good character, just out shined by other options.
Yes please, down down inputs are are obnoxious, the goofy tiger knee style input you have to do for insta air lightning kick is less awkward.
If you look at the top players that played Chun in S1, many of them moved to Ed. Valmaster and Moke are the only ones that have stuck with her. They’ll be the first to tell you she’s not a bad character at all, but she’s not a top pick for S2
I don't think the Akuma or Bison matchup are that bad with her - she has tools to deal with their stuff. She's just harder to use.
That said, as was said, for a Chun-Li miracle, we first need a Chun-Li main in the event itself. And I somehow doubt MenaRD has a pocket Chun-Li to surprise everyone with in his darkest hour. She's neither an S rank nor a weird enough character for him to consider it.
