In my case, I ranked the characters based on waifu-level and made the off comment that Marissa has a man's body and wasn't in the running.

Its crazy that an anonymous, grubby little confused person can have that much power over the FGC.

I get that hate speech should not be allowed, but if they use motion capture of a man for a character model, and it has shoulders wider than it's waist, its plain to see that it has a man's body and I have every right to rank it at the bottom of a waifu list.

This isn't a commentary on politics or whatever is going on in trans land or college campuses in 2024. This is a warning that those kind of identity politics shouldn't be spilling into video games and that it has negative consequences. I have a much more negative opinion of the LGBT community as a result of that mod's actions. Why should I accept you if you don't accept me?

But wait! An attack on marissa appearance apparently is an attack on "real" people. If they stretch truth and use marissa as a stand-in to represent whatever oppressed group they are defending, whether it be a trans person, or a female bodybuilder, then it becomes a bannable offense!

Rating the characters based on "waifu level", Marissa is at the very bottom and I'm allowed to say this. If a real world person looks like marissa, that person knows they aren't winning any beauty contests either.

None of this BS stands up to any scrutiny. Its just people using an agenda to gain power by cancelling people.

Gabi Garcia is natural, a biological woman. Some chauvinists spread that she's trans knowing that it's not true, but she and doctors confirmed that she's natural.
In health studies there are 3 types of body: ectomorph (lean, little fat and muscle), mesomorph (most people, more muscles than fat) and endomorph (rare kind, accumulates fat too easily). I believe Gabi Garcia, just like Zangief and Marisa, is endomorph, she used to be obese but lost a lot of weight and gained muscles with extreme exercising.
